This 5 section aerial is 535mm long when extended and 187mm long when retracted. The aerial represents 14 wavelength at 144MHz when extended and 14 wavelength at 430MHz when retracted. The aerial has a pivoted base and is terminated in a BNC connector suitable for direct connection to most hand held transceivers.
